Overwhelmed.

It has been awhile since I have posted.  I think it’s because I am feeling a little less “My new house is so fabulous that I will love it no matter what crazy things come up” to “Oh boy.  This house is going to fabulous, but it is going to take a lot of work to get it to where it needs to be.”

Between the end-of-the-school year craziness, picking up extra shifts at work, two kids in baseball, building a larger chicken coop, and dealing with a hail storm that damaged my van, the roof, the plants, my garden and my rose-tinted glasses, well… I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed.

I keep reminding myself that not all of it has to be done at once.  Some day it will be AMAZING.  But it is going to take a lot of time and sweat and money to get there, and we can’t do it all at once.

Yep. There's my van. Lance is using the garage for a workshop at the moment, so it was parked out front.

We started scraping the collonades. Ug. It's going to be a lot of work getting this house ready to paint.
